HongKong Day 2 (Dec 31, 2008)
Today, after I woke up, I just realize, this is my last day in 2008, and what did I done? Just few unsuccessful competition, freelance job, and travel of course. Nothing much. But the one that I will always remember is that I’m now ALEX LEORIUS.Bbus. as u know, I just finished my degree last end of July.
Straightly on August, I came to Shanghai for study mandarin. But still besides study, I did a lot travel around China; such as Beijing, HuangShan, ZhouZhuang, NingBo, YiWu, GuangZhou, ShenZhen, and now I’m in HongKong now. I just want to say a very very huge Thanks to GOD for
giving me such a great enough life for me *even though I still have another hop, for sure everybody will not enough what they got*. And also, I wanna say very very very huge thanks to my Beloved Parents. Thanks for all the supports and love u all.
Well, I steal a free 20 minutes internet access at starbucks which is just right beside my apartment at Causeway Bay area. Sitting here alone, enjoying my Java Chips Frappucino, and mini chicken ham wrap. And for lunch time, I went to Tsim Sha Tsui to meet my friends
Patrick for have lunch together at a small local HK restaurant. Well, just cha siew fan, but yeah, its ok for the taste, and also for the wallet.
Well, Patrick went back to his office and I walked around at Tsim Sha Tsui area for few hours. Shopping and yeah… shopping. Well, I can say that I’m totally broke now. U knows what I bought just now? It’s a lot. 1st I went to a book store around there and get a graphic design book for my brother, Sendy. I bought 2 books of business card design book, formal and funky punk design. I also bought a fashion photography book, which is cost me HKD 840 in total of these 3 books. Wow……
2, I walked around Tsim Sha Tsui district in the small street around there, and I went to TOUGH stores. And I couldn’t get away from the discount sign. I bought a hand bag *775 discount 12% = HKD 685* and 2 wallets *buy one free one*, which are cost me HKD 1027.
3. I walked around that street too, and I found G2000 here. Feel curious about the style and design within Shanghai and HongKong. But well, it’s just the same. The difference is that the price. I get a formal shirt for HKD99, which is about 85RMB. Wow… it was so cheap. I’d seen the same shirt in the G2000 store in Shanghai, which stated there about 130RMB. Well, I bought the Green one. Haha…
I walked from Tsim Sha Tsui to Jordan, Yau Ma Tei and Temple Street. Well I think, Temple Street is more to Petaling Street in Kuala Lumpur. Well, people sell the fake things on the road. Nothing much there, it just the same compare to KL one, but think different is, they r using HKD.not RM. Hahaha…. *I think everybody should know bout it* lol…..
From there, me and Patrick together go for a small but famous Restaurant in Yau Ma Tei area. It’s like hot bowl bake rice with pork or chicken on the top. Well, I try the pork one. Because this is china, everywhere u can find pork. Hahaha… ou, talking about pork, I heard that HK’s McD has a menu like a burger, using pork. Not chicken or fillet o’ fish. I should get buzz there to get a try.
After dinner, I went to a shopping mall at MongKok, which is famous of the longest escalator in Asia. Well, it’s very long actually. From the 4th floor to 8th floor, and then continued with another long escalator from the 8th floor, to 13th floor. Wow… that’s pretty long btw.
And before I walked back to causeway bay, *I have to meet Ronald and spend my new yr eve with him and few of his friends*, I saw H&M stores there. And they have a very big store there. And I get a vest for HKD 199, with 50% off, so I just need to pay for HKS 99. hhaha… it is even cheaper then
the vest I made in Lu Jia Bang in Shanghai before that cost me RMB 100 (HKD 112). Haiz….
Well, another 30 minutes to go until New Year 2009. I’m waiting for Ronald to come over, together went to IFC mall in HongKong Island, Central. We were there 2 minutes before the fireworks starts and I just have few second to prepare my camera. What a rush…..
After shooting, we meet Ronald’s friends at IFC mall to go for a Club there, its called Red club, which is on the roof top of the mall. Well, it’s New Year, so I’m not that surprise about how many people there. It’s totally FULL. Standing about 1 hour, we went to Wan Cai area, to get another club. Well, looked at the place around, I don’t think I wanna go for a club. I can say that, it sucks…..
So, I decided not to get it the club, because there have an entrance fee for 210/person. Because I do not drink liquor, I prefer no. so, me and Ronald went to a small kebab house, and continued to a Chinese HongKong Style restaurant around causeway bay, until 3.40AM. hahahaha…
Well, Happy New Year to y’all my reader. Wishing u all the best always in this long new year. New Year means new hope, new thought, new style, new mind, new for everything. For sure, a lot of people wish for something better, included me.

HongKong Day 1 (December 30, 2008)
I just arrived in HongKong for my 1st day and also my 1st time alone travel. Just love it, because u can go and walked around wherever u wanna go. Well, when I crossed Hongkong immigration, straightly, I go to 7 eleven to get a new HK sim card, so that I can call and meet my friends here. And also ofcoz, get the octopus card to use the public transport in HK, such as; MTR, bus, taxi, or even can use this octopus card to purchase something in some stores in HK.
Ok well, I just get my apartment very very early in the morning today, which is recommended by henry, my friends in Shanghai. Well, it cost me 300/day and I think quite expensive but still, I need to get some place to live for this 5 days. I reach at my apartment around 1.30PM. and around 3PM, I start my 1st walked around my place, Causeway Bay. Well, they said this is the most crowded place in HK.
Well, about 5.15PM, I go to MTR station to meet my friends Kirque. Well, he was just get back from the office and about to go back home to take his luggage, because he will have his flight to Bangkok around 9.30PM. Well, I decided to go with him to airport, rather than I had nothing to do, because my friend, Ronald is going to Macau until night.
Well, this is my 1st time I visit HK, and also my 1st time I visit the airport. It’s quite far from Kirque house actually. Using shuttle bus, I takes us about 1 hours. During that time, I ask for his recommended place in HK. He wrote everything in the map that I got at ShenZhen HongKong border. Well, feel thanks to him, because I give me a lot of place to go for my next 4 days here. Lol……
Btw, have a safe flight K. see you again in the other time. Because I know u r quite busy with ur work and I’m about to leave shanghai for good to Singapore. Hahaha….

My life episode 11: Merry Christmas
i just came back from our Xmas Potluck dinner at Nikko and Andre's house. a lot of foods prepared by my friends just now. Spaghetti, Salad, Pizza, Beef Rolls, Peking Duck, Stream Chicken, and my lovely Cholocate Ba Gu cookies. hahaha...
okay about my cookies, i prepare it few hours before dinner time. i went to Gang Hui Plaza 港汇广场 around 1PM. before i went to buy some stuff, i went to Yoshinoya to had my lunch. i walked around Gang hui to get some gift for exchange gift for tonight party. well, after 1 hour i walked around, i found a note book, which have the same brand with my undies.... Paul Smith..... hahahaha... well, i bought it and the price is quite reasonable. and i love the design. its Green. hahaha.... i also bought a note book, named Ha!Shangha!. i bought that book so remind me about shanghai in the future, and i wanna ask my friends to fill that note with their opinion about me.
okay, i went to supermarket to get some chocolate, corn flakes, sugar, and butter. after i got it, i went back and started to cook it. but shit, after almost done my 1st cookies, i forgot to buy the small cup for the cookies. i leave all the things and went to City Shop near my home. well, i know the stuff there are all expensive, but that's the closest supermarket around my home. i scared my 2 packages chocolate is not enough, i decided to buy another 2 packages of melt chocolate and 1 M&M as the topping of the cookies.
well, i just melted 3 packages, it already fit for 3 boxes. 1 big box, and 2 small box. from all of that, i can make around 100 small cookies. well, it was exactly 7PM when i done all the things, included wash and clean all the stuffs.
and 7.40PM i went to Andre's house. and the party begin. hahahaha... well, all my friends said my cookies is great. Andriany, the one that cannot eat chocolate, she asked more from me and want to take home some of that. hahahaha.... another one, Jei, he always 2 thumbs up for me, Perfect lex. hahaha... thanks anyway.
okay, this is what happened rite there.....
And this are my best shots.....
well, this is my Recipe.....
Ingredient:
1. Dark Chocolate Melt (any kind of chocolate can make it, except, can be melt and not contain any nuts or cookies).
2. Sugar
3. Salted Butter (Recommended Anchor Butter from New Zealand)
4. Corn flakes
5. Small paper cup
how to cook it:
1. melt every 300g Chocolate mixed it with 1 tea spoon of butter, and 1/4 spoon of sugar.
2. mixed it until liquid and fluid
3. take 2 full hand of the corn flakes with your hand (with the glove for sure) into the bowl, and mixed it with the chocolate.
4. after all mixed, use 2 tablespoon to make it round and put it inside paper cup immediately before cold and stick.
5. put the topping (M&M or others) on the top of the cookies before cold and stick.
6. leave it around 10 minutes until it stick, and then, chocolate cookies is ready to serve and eat.

You need to keep an open mind. Try to accept the changes that will be happening in your day today. Don't waste time trying to find out why they are happening -- just go with the flow and see what the next hour brings. You might not be comfortable with this idea at first, but by the early afternoon you'll begin to get into the groove and really enjoy the unexpected twists and turns that your day will be taking. It is certainly not going to be a boring time!

Pre-Xmas Fine Dining
Last few days, me and another 10 friends, went to a restaurant in Three on the Bund Shanghai, which is listed in one of the best restaurant in shanghai. yup, we went to LARIS.
ok, the preparation before i went there, about the dress code was Formal. at first, i wanna wear my shirt with vest, but the girl prefer me to wear sweater. so, i just wear sweater, with the coat and my burberry scarf. ahhaa...
well, booked at 8PM, and we arrived there around 8.15, where the girl arrived at 8.45. waiting like haiz...... the girls always.... indo's rubber. wkwkwk....
okay, i ordered Caesar Salad with the main co Fillet o Veil .... forgot the name. it served with small carrot, well, it taste great. very very great. and the caesar salad, wow.... very fresh. and i love the shrimps..... hahaha....

my life episode 10: New Thought
today, i was a lil bit late for class. late for about 30 minutes actually, because i couldn't found my text book for 口语课 in my home。 well, i just don't care about it, as i thought, a lot of my classmate sit alone in the class, so i can just sit with them and share the book. hahaha... i had my lunch under my apartment, and after that, walked to campus.
well, Kurt, my classmate from Belgium, took out few packs of chocolate and he told us "今天是我的生日。我要给你们巧克力从比利时." and guess what? it taste great. OMG love the chocolate from Cote d'Or. ou btw, Happy Birthday Kurt. and thanks for the chocolate.
after class, few minutes after i reach home, Darwin called me and ask me whether i have free time or not. because vinna ask him to task me to go to a photographer's studio. well, 当然我有空儿. hahaha... 6PM me, darwin, jay and vinna went to the photographer studio at people square 人民广场. after i get in, WOW.... the studio is very very nice and have a large space to shoot. i think it have 3 room, 1 make up room, and 1 small office inside.
the photographer about my pictures i submit for the photography competition last few weeks. he said, "do u like to read the horoscope? it is better for you not to read and not to believe on it. u need to move on with it...." well, i'm not really got it actually, but i got it as "the better is that u must make tomorrow's horoscope for people to follow u". haha... i think ya........
well, i take the advantage of today's lesson. and i learn quite alot i think. even though some of my feeling is just about the same like before. lazy for sure. haha... but yeah, today i miss my GYM. omigot. tomorrow i must go for gym no matter anything happen, i need to go there. i must make GYM as my routine activity. haiz.....

well, i take the advantage of today's lesson. and i learn quite alot i think. even though some of my feeling is just about the same like before. lazy for sure. haha... but yeah, today i miss my GYM. omigot. tomorrow i must go for gym no matter anything happen, i need to go there. i must make GYM as my routine activity. haiz.....
