Happy New Year 2012

Oh well, Time's really flies. A year pass without compromise. anything you do, anything that you achieve, it's all DONE. Few minutes ago, me and my group of friends Cheer for the coming New year, enjoying our Moscato Jacob's Creek wine and the year of Jay Sean and Nicki Minaj is just Clocking. Yeah, 2012.

Well, i don't really want to flip back my 2011 resolutions because i know that i don't really achieve much. it's been a really confusing year for me. i have no idea what am i doing, what am i achieve, what am i done, and WTH. i take it too easy, go with the flow, and No Goal.

This year, i make some resolution for the Better year ahead. Not only for 2012.

1. Every time i eat, half of my plate must be veges.
For this, i don't really take control of what i consume on my daily basis. i can said that am killing my body for this; especially after gym. i don't really have a good proportion of food after that. Just a cup of milk, 2 half boiled eggs, and some fruits.

For this year, i already bought Multivitamins tablets from Centrum, which contain Vitamin A to Zinc for my daily Vitamins, Nutrients, and Minerals need. So, for Natural Protein and Vitamin, i will eat More Vege and Meats with less Fried and fast food. Drink more juice, and eat more Fruits in my daily basis.

2. I will manage my stress better
In order to do this, i think it is better for me to find any New side activities for myself outside my working life. Started Jogging recently with my friends few months ago is one of my New Project, but well, we just did that once a month previously, or even two. So for that, I must make this become regular for at least twice a month.

Other than Jogging, since I love Photography, i will go out and shot for at least once every 2 weeks to make it a routine, for the purpose to maintain my skills and also build up my portfolio, which i posted at my own Blog. Currently, I'm looking for my Make-up Artist friends and other photographer to make an outing for photography shot. so, it's time to look for freelance Fashion Designer to build-up our portfolio.

3. I will train at least 30 minutes, 3 times a week
For this, it might be hard for me to do since I'm not a gym member. However, on top of my Jogging, i will also try to minimized my internet surf time by doing a small exercise in my room, such as; Push-up, Sit-up, Jump-on-the-spot. The only thing that i lack of is Weight Training. So for this, i might consider to buy a DUMBBELL for 2012.

Searching where can i get those Dumbbell in Singapore, i found one of SG forum that discuss this, which might be quite useful for me to buy. Saw them posted some of the place that i can buy those from, one of the is just a walking distance from my house, Bras Basah. :) But yeah, they all posted in 2009, so I'm not too sure whether the shop is still there or not.

However, looking for a better tips on how to maintain a healthy life, last month, I read an Interview Article at FitnessSutra.com with Local Fitness Model - Darren Stephen Lim, he said:
"Stick to a well balanced diet. This is not only to lose unhealthy weight, but benefiting to your own personal health in the long run. A change of your exercise routine every six weeks helps to keep things fresh and also you will not feel like you are stuck in a rut. This will lead to better personal progression too. Exercises that focus on core strength and stability will help one achieve better overall fitness.

In this day and age, a good night’s sleep is very hard to come by. But time has to be made for this very important aspect of health. Adequate rest is required for a person to function throughout the day."


4. Less Insomnia, Sleep Better
I read an article at Yahoo few months back, and i think that is a good article for those who have Insomnia like me. But thank God, I just reached "Light Insom" stage. The article is about "Tips For Getting A Good Night Sleep" by Elena Torrijos.

She wrote one of the statement that i really lack of as for now:
"An Optimal Sleep means 7-9 hours straight with no interruptions, no waking up to pee, no trouble falling asleep (out within a couple of minutes of lying down) and waking up with high morning energy ready and excited to face the day. These are signs of good and restful sleep."

I think one of my "Confusing Mind" problem is because i lack of sleep. I believe, all of the above mentioned is a good starts for me to have an Optimal Sleep and carry a Healthy Lifestyle in the future.

5. I will pampered myself More
Well, this is not only about shopping or spending on a trip for holiday, but this is include a good Facial and Massage. Previously, i do my regular Facial for at least once every 5 weeks at Salon1 Bishan for almost 3 years till now and i really happy with the result. With the reasonable price, i can see the different before and after facial, even though it takes more than a year. Thanks to Gilbert for recommend Kelly, the beautician to me.

Not to forget (Promote their service at the same time), i also did their Diamond Peel once every 2 - 3 months for better result. But What is Diamond Peel? Based on ehow.com, this kind of facial exfoliates your skin by using multi-degree diamond tipped wand through continuous scrubbing and vacuuming the top-most layer of the skin. It helps to improve uneven skin coloring and aging spots, superficial acne scars, sun-damaged skin and aging fine lines, dry rough skin and large pores. This procedure only last for 20-30 minutes.

Well other than Facial, i also went to Johor Bahru once every 3 months for Massage at Thai Odyssey. The first time i went there with my friends for an hour Traditional Thai Massage and i can feel the different immediately after that. feels lighter and sleepy, which is quite good. Subsequently, i tried their 30min Food Massage and 30min Half Body massage, and i Fall in Love with That.

And for Personal Savings Next year, i will save at least $300/month from my salary for savings cum emergency cash, which i already started few months back. 6. I must Do More Good Things and Pray More
To be really honest, 2011 is the most lack of Praying year in my life ever. i totally forgot to pray to my own God. And for this year, i MUST go to temple more often, and Pray more. Do more self donation, and Help people who need help. do More Good Things without thinking of the Return. Think SINCERITY, More Gratitude and be More Positive.

7. Be More Socialized
Yesterday, i just knew a new Friend from Surabaya, just name him Ferry. He amazed me with his sociable lifestyle and his personal life. Honestly, i don't really share a lot stuff with the new people in my cycle. But i can feel that "that guy is a future me". I learn a lot from him; from the way to talk to someone new or even stranger, the conversation to share with friends, the life that you go through, and the way you portray yourself is the most important part, especially when you just met someone New to your Friend's circle. Thanks Ferry.

8. Be more Focus on what i do
Well, Honestly this statement is not i create by myself, but more to the comments that i got from Many people around me, from friends even from my Branch Manager. Sometimes, people understand you more that yourself. So, instead of just a comment from, i will make this become one of my Resolutions. Be Focus on everything i do; starting from my Job scope, responsibility, task and targets, until my personal daily life.


Till now, this is what i can think of for my 2012 resolution. Anything that i will top-up definitely i will write it here. And last but not least, HAPPY NEW YEAR to all my reader. Hope this New Year will bring you more Luck, Wealth, Health and Happy.
