Avocado Green Tea Power Shake – Low Carb and Gluten-Free

Yield: 2 smoothies
A low carb avocado green tea smoothie, packed with protein and anti-oxidants. The ultimate post-workout recovery drink, and sugar-free.
Avocado Green Tea Power Shake – Low Carb and Gluten-Free
Ingredients:
  • 1 tsp matcha green tea powder
  • 1 tbsp hot water
  • 1/2 medium avocado
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup vanilla whey protein powder
  • 2 tsp Swerve sweetener or granulated erythritol
  • 1 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk

Instructions:
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together matcha powder and hot water. Set aside.
  2. Cut avocado into chunks and add to blender. Add yogurt, protein powder, and sweetener.
  3. Add almond milk and matcha tea mixture and blend until smooth.
  4. Divide between two glasses and enjoy.

Notes:
Serves 2. each smoothie has 9g of carbs and 2.5 of fiber. Total NET Carbs= 6.5g.
