Last year, For the 3rd time in 10 years, Singapore Airlines has been named World's Best Airline, winning the 2008 Airline of the Year title in the latest World Airline Awards. Singapore Airline being a previous winner of Airline of the Year title in 2004 and 2007. Singapore Airlines was also the world's first airline to fly the Airbus A380, on 25 october 2007.
