Paris Hilton Arrested at World Cup

Paris Hilton has reportedly been arrested in South Africa! According to the Times Live the heiress was escorted from the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium for allegedly smoking marijuana on Friday evening.

She was there with a friend to watch the Brazil-Netherlands match, and guess girlfriend thought she was in Holland, and decided to spark one up!

Hilton was reportedly taken by police to the Mount Road Police Station just before 8pm. Provincial Head of Detectives in Port Elizabeth, Mark Magadlela, confirmed that Hilton was at the police station and had been released.

Of course, Paris, who tweets every other minute, has failed to mention this little detail. Her last tweet was two hours ago—she wrote: “It's so beautiful here. I can't wait to go on the Safari this week and see all the amazing animals.”

Earlier she wrote: “Had so much fun at the game today. What a match! I love South Africa!”

Yeah, we’re sure she had a lot of “fun” before the authorities came in to kill her buzz!

UPDATE: A blogger for Eyewitness News (EWN) in South Africa writes on the network's Twitter.com page, "EWN can officially confirm that socialite Paris Hilton has been arrested on a drug related charge and will appear in court later tonight."

UPDATE: TMZ reports that Paris was not smoking pot herself, but was taken into custody after someone in her entourage was suspected of doing so. They say Hilton has not yet been released.

Ebisboshi Shotengai Restaurant @ Iluma

As always, my starting line is "been while since my last post". lol...... okay, a short story about me and my neighbor. since Iluma open until now, i never been there for shop or eat, where the building is exactly beside my block. only for pass by bcoz got overhead bridge there Plus Aircon. so i won't sweat when i walk to mrt or bus stop. lol..... but yesterday, after long day of work in the office, i went to a Japanese Restaurant named Ebiboshi Shotengai at the 4th floor in the Iluma there.

At first, i saw quite numbers of people queuing-up there and quite alot of people inside having their dinner as well. so, i decided to went there and had my dinner before movie (The Jones Theory). The restaurant have the same concept with Waraku at The Heeren, but, the technology is much much more advance. Yes both is "self-service" system, but Ebisboshi used the real "self-service" technology without going to the booth. What do i mean by that?

They have the technology, which i called "Wireless Bar-code Detector System". This device design as a pen (as shown in the picture beside), whereby you can scan into selected bar-code provided at the item that you wish to order. But it's quite big and thick though. oh well, and after you confirm your item, the device will automatically send your order to the kitchen straight away. in this case, the waiters will not wait for you and ask "you want to order already?" or "any drink first?" but they will come to your table and pass u the confirm item that you send to the kitchen. pretty cool huh..........

And the good thing about this Device, they provide you a voice system whereby you can listen to the item that you order to prevent wrong item or bar-code. And they also have Volume bar-code in case you a bit deaf like me. haha......

well, give it a try. The food is quite nice. but abit pricy i think. but i like the ambiance. keep it up.......

Flood in Singapore

wow, this is the 1st time i ever heard that Singapore flood. usually i heard about my own country Indonesia, Malaysia, and some of the neighborhood country. But now, it's time for Singapore (sounds like take turn). lol.....

Early morning today (16/6/2010), since i wake up around 7am until i went to office at 9.30am, heavy rains keep attacked Singapore and apparently it caused flood in Singapore's Central shopping district and what i heard it Besides Orchard Road, other parts of Singapore, including Coronation Road West, Fourth Avenue, Kings Road, Kheam Hock Road and Veerasamy Road were also affected, snarled traffic throughout the island. crazy....... but too bad am not at the location this morning. so, i just grab other people picture here. haha.....

he heavy rain caused major flooding at the Ion Orchard and Scotts Road junction, making the roads impassable to traffic. The rain was especially heavy over the Orchard Road and Rochor Road area, which were submerged in floodwaters of up to half a metre deep. Several shops near Wheelock Place like fast food outlet Wendy’s and luxury retailer Hermes, Massimo Dutti were completely underwater.

it is not funny for Wendy's, which they just opened few weeks ago *i think*. new renovation, new store, newly opened, but........ haiz...... like what 中国人说真倒霉. hufff......

as what STOMP Singapore stated, "Heavy Rain Turns Orchard Road Become Orchard River". lol.....

in conclusion, Singapore is a country of HOT, HUMID, COOL, RAIN, HOT, HUMID, RAIN, RAIN, RAIN, HOT, HOT, RAIN, RAIN, RAIN, and now FLOOD. so, what next? Ah, i remember what my innocence colleague told me "Alex, do u think this world will end soon?". hahahaha........

Hob Nob Cafe

I just came back from my dinner together with my colleagues and my boss. we went to a never heard cafe named HOB NOB CAFE. from the shopping mall itself, it looks hmmm......... curious.

But after you taste the appetizer, my perspective to the cafe is change. great dining experience ever. it's been long time i didn't enjoy this kind of dishes. i ordered Mushroom soup (as always, my favorite), chamomile Tea, and Pork cutlet Cordon Bleu. for the price of around $10-13, this is consider as very good already. Very fresh baked Dory fish, well cooked Pork cutlet cordon bleu, And the cosy cafe is totally relaxing ambiance with warm hospitality.

and the best things, no service charge. haha..... plus 15% discount if you use Standard Chartered Bank credit card. wow...... *i help them to promote. because it is really really nice cafe in terms of the decoration and the food*.

Confussion

since i started working until now, i make myself feel sooooooo confuse. starting for my daily life, financial, works, even my life. i don't know and cannot make decision for myself. i always need advice from other people, who i trust. i always feel confuse between 2 stuff. i don't know what am i thinking right now. i just feel so empty, boring, no life, and shitty. haiz....... every day, i do the same thing over and over again. and i feel very moody when someone shout or ask me to do something.

what am i gonna do now is to make myself back to my university life schedule. i have a very proper daily and even monthly schedule for me to do all my stuff. because i used to consult my situation with my friends and other ppl, and the said i lack of daily agenda, and proper life guideline. i have no purpose in life and do just the same thing. maybe i need to read more motivation books, and be more hard work in everything i do.
