Alexander McQueen Fall 2012

Sarah Burton's Alexander McQueen Fall 2012 ready to Wear collection brought a sense of light, movement, and playfulness to the usually structured and serious designs that the fashion house is famous for, writes contributing fashion writer Amelia Vogelsang.

From the outset, Sarah Burton's latest outing for fashion house Alexander McQueen delivered something extraordinary as models donned feather gloves and capelets that contrasted the futuristic shades that hid their eyes. Burton also injected some romanticism into the stunning display with mid-drift baring tops and Femininity Silhouettes was a definite focus on the designs.

The color palette evolved throughout the show, shifting from white to soft pink hues, magenta then red and finally black. Both dramatic and glamorous, models seemed to glide down the runway in the feathered, texturally-rich creations. And though nothing in the ready-to-wear collection resembled anything you would be likely to see on the street, this in only makes Burton's spectacular vision even more enticing.

• Trends: Volume, texture, femininity, fur, metallics.
• Colors: Pink, fuchsia, black, gray, white, silver.
• Key Piece: The white and black laser-cut looks were a beautiful departure from the extreme volume.
• Accessories: Fur, floral, and fringe-embellished platforms to match every look, visor-like glasses, furry mittens and gloves, fur collars, oversize metallic bows and flowers at the waist.
• Who Would Wear It: The most whimsical and imaginative of fashionistas; Anna Dello Russo would be a perfect fit for the voluminous furs and pom-pom adorned looks.

Zoukout 2009

Yesterday is one of my awesome day in my life ever. this is called party all night long. why? because Zoukout is here. before i tell the story of the events, i wanna tell about myself. at first, before i went for zoukout, i was about "wrong theme" of my cloth. i wear polo-T and shoes *i bring T-shirt and tank top in my bag*. then i realized, it was totally out of the "beach wear" theme. Then i went back home to change my shirt and wear slipper.

reach sentosa about 11pm. and i need to queue for 20 minutes at the main entrance. can you imagine how many people was there while we need to queue that long just to enter the party. *by the way, the main entrance have 6 line if am not mistaken*.

about the Zoukout party, with a record breaking 26.000 party revellers in 2008, Zoukout 2009 extends its venue to incorporate Siloso Beach's latest lifestyle attraction, Wave House Sentosa, and will house one of Zoukout's stage! there are 4 stages in total and The main stages is at the corner, where Armin Van Buuren play his latest remix there.

Armin start his performance at 5AM in the morning. can you imagine i stay there just for Armin. well, this is my 2nd time watch his live performance. The 1st time i went for Armin concert was last year November, during my stay in Shanghai.

David Archuleta

Yesterday 7 April 09, Runner Up American Idol season 7, David Archuleta, held his Autographs session at Iluma, Singapore, which is just right beside my HDB, about 20 meters. hahaha.....

The shows starts about 7.20 which is 20 minutes late from the actual schedule, but still hundreds of fans was standing and waiting for the 17 years old David to perform and sign on their original CD of David Archuleta.

well because i stand too far from the stage, i don't think my sigm a17-70mm can afford to shot the clear face of David.m meanwhile, in the middle of the show, which right behind me, there are 1 freaking stupid malay high school girl that shout to the other audience. "don't push me ok. u keep push me until u get aside and i cannot see David." hello girl, this is just the same like concert, no seat number, no entrance fee, and ofcoz everybody will push futher infront to the stage. if u want, just grab the original CD and get inside there. haiz..... nyebelin bgt....

well, forget about that stupid girl, at that time, David Sang 4 songs of A Little Too Not Over You, Crush, Thousands Miles, and his new hits Touch My Hand. well, right next of this text, is my best shot of David Archuleta during the shows.

My life episode 11: Merry Christmas

i just came back from our Xmas Potluck dinner at Nikko and Andre's house. a lot of foods prepared by my friends just now. Spaghetti, Salad, Pizza, Beef Rolls, Peking Duck, Stream Chicken, and my lovely Cholocate Ba Gu cookies. hahaha...

okay about my cookies, i prepare it few hours before dinner time. i went to Gang Hui Plaza 港汇广场 around 1PM. before i went to buy some stuff, i went to Yoshinoya to had my lunch. i walked around Gang hui to get some gift for exchange gift for tonight party. well, after 1 hour i walked around, i found a note book, which have the same brand with my undies.... Paul Smith..... hahahaha... well, i bought it and the price is quite reasonable. and i love the design. its Green. hahaha.... i also bought a note book, named Ha!Shangha!. i bought that book so remind me about shanghai in the future, and i wanna ask my friends to fill that note with their opinion about me.

okay, i went to supermarket to get some chocolate, corn flakes, sugar, and butter. after i got it, i went back and started to cook it. but shit, after almost done my 1st cookies, i forgot to buy the small cup for the cookies. i leave all the things and went to City Shop near my home. well, i know the stuff there are all expensive, but that's the closest supermarket around my home. i scared my 2 packages chocolate is not enough, i decided to buy another 2 packages of melt chocolate and 1 M&M as the topping of the cookies.

well, i just melted 3 packages, it already fit for 3 boxes. 1 big box, and 2 small box. from all of that, i can make around 100 small cookies. well, it was exactly 7PM when i done all the things, included wash and clean all the stuffs.

and 7.40PM i went to Andre's house. and the party begin. hahahaha... well, all my friends said my cookies is great. Andriany, the one that cannot eat chocolate, she asked more from me and want to take home some of that. hahahaha.... another one, Jei, he always 2 thumbs up for me, Perfect lex. hahaha... thanks anyway.

well, this is my Recipe.....

Ingredient:
1. Dark Chocolate Melt (any kind of chocolate can make it, except, can be melt and not contain any nuts or cookies).
2. Sugar
3. Salted Butter (Recommended Anchor Butter from New Zealand)
4. Corn flakes
5. Small paper cup

how to cook it:
1. melt every 300g Chocolate mixed it with 1 tea spoon of butter, and 1/4 spoon of sugar.
2. mixed it until liquid and fluid
3. take 2 full hand of the corn flakes with your hand (with the glove for sure) into the bowl, and mixed it with the chocolate.
4. after all mixed, use 2 tablespoon to make it round and put it inside paper cup immediately before cold and stick.
5. put the topping (M&M or others) on the top of the cookies before cold and stick.
6. leave it around 10 minutes until it stick, and then, chocolate cookies is ready to serve and eat.

Don't waste time trying to find out why they are happening -- just go with the flow and see what the next hour brings. You might not be comfortable with this idea at first, but by the early afternoon you'll begin to get into the groove and really enjoy the unexpected twists and turns that your day will be taking. It is certainly not going to be a boring time!
